You can just save the whole Scan folder as backup. But it still has risk, if any one file has something wrong, the backup will not be working.

Just copy and paste. Save the Scan folder in your PC or any other SD card as backup.

    I suspect In all likely hood  this one critical file that is needed for the scan folder backup to work is not going to be copied (at least by newer windows OS) because the file is protected.The backup most likely will work while the Maxi Sys is still under free update period,because it will connect to Autel's site and auto check security number if your subscription is current and automatically reinstall the needed file for the back up to work.
  Has anybody that backed up the whole scan folder while under free update period that after the free update period was expired  had to reinstall the entire scan folder and their Maxisys worked ok ?
